2 killed in Moore County head-on crash

WEST END, N.C. (WNCN) - Two people are dead following a three-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon in West End, the Aberdeen Times reported.

A Jeep and a Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck collided head-on in front of the Log Cabin Country Store at 4993 NC Highway 211 between West End and Seven Lakes.

A Honda CRV was also involved in the collision.

N.C. Highway 211 was closed to traffic during the investigation.

Responding to the accident were units with West End Fire & Rescue, Seven Lakes Fire Department, Eagle Springs Fire Department, Moore County EMS, Moore County Sheriff's Department, Foxfire Police Department, and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation
