All lanes in section of Capital Boulevard in Raleigh reopen following 3-vehicle crash

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) - Multiple lanes of Capital Boulevard near Thornton Road were shut down Wednesday morning following a three-vehicle crash involving injuries, Raleigh police said.

The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. and multiple people suffered "very minor injuries," officials said. Two of those injured were transported to local hospitals, but police did not say which hospitals.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation estimated the road would be reopened by 9:30 a.m. All lanes were reopened by 8:50 a.m.
