1 shot, another beaten during Raleigh home invasion

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) - One person was shot and another was beaten during an armed home invasion in Raleigh on Saturday evening, police said.

The incident was reported just before 7:50 p.m. at 105 Bashford Road, which is off Hillsborough Street, according to Raleigh police.

Two people in the home were injured in the home invasion.


A 25-year-old man was shot while the other victim was "pistol whipped," police said.

Police said that they are looking for a purple Acura that drove off just after the shots were fired.

No other details were immediately available.
