Cary man threatened by machete-wielding neighbor

CARY, N.C. (WNCN) - A Cary man was arrested on Monday, April 30, around 7 p.m. for threatening his neighbor with a machete, police said.

Zachary Lollar, 19, was charged with communicating threats. Officials said the victim, an adult male, went over to Lollar's residence and the two began to argue. Lollar showed the victim a machete and threatened him, prompting the victim to call the police.

Lollar was previously arrested and convicted in 2016 in Wake County for larceny and attempted breaking and entering.
