The bus driver told troopers the tractor trailer was driving into his lane. The tractor trailer driver noticed at the last minute and swerved back into his lane, busting the buses’ mirrors and four windows.

One child was injured by the breaking glass, but there were no serious injuries.

No one was transported to the hospital.

Fifteen students were on the bus at the time.

The Highway Patrol wants people in Craven County and in surrounding counties to be on the lookout for a blue and silver tractor trailer driven by a white man.

The bus had internal video, which troopers are trying to use to learn more about the accident.

The bus will be out of service until the windows are fixed.
