Amy Cutler joined CBS17 as a general assignment reporter in September 2015.
Previously, Cutler had reported for News 10 ABC in Albany, N.Y. She covered many stories, including the Prison Break in Upstate New York, the Boston Marathon bombings and the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
Prior to that, she worked for the News 12 Networks in the New York City area for almost two years as a reporter. Before that, she worked in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
A native of New York, Cutler was born and raised in Brooklyn.
She realized her passion for television news in college, when she interned for Gabe Pressman in the political unit at WNBC.
Cutler graduated from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, with a double-major in government and psychology.
When she is not chasing stories, Cutler loves running, taking in a yoga class, spending time with family and friends, and exploring her new home.
