Bridget joined the CBS 17 News team as a reporter in May 2019.
Originally from Park City, Utah, she’s excited to be in the Triangle to tell your stories every day.
She’s an award-winning journalist with a passion for investigative reporting and giving a voice to the voiceless.
Her work has led to the cleanup of noncompliant apartment complexes, the shutdown of illegally operating restaurants and support for crime victims.
Prior to moving to Raleigh, she reported in Memphis, Tennessee and Yakima, Washington.
Bridget graduated magna cum laude from San Diego State University with a degree in journalism and a minor in English.
While in California, she worked as a news writer for NBC San Diego and freelanced for different publications.
She’s a foodie, animal advocate and coffee lover who enjoys the outdoors — whether that’s relaxing on the beach or hitting the slopes.
