Colleen Quigley is excited to be a part of the CBS 17 team and to explore all the Triangle has to offer.
An Emmy-nominated and six-time AP-award-winning reporter, Colleen joined WNCN in January 2018.
Prior to joining WNCN, Colleen spent two years as a reporter and anchor at NBC12 in Richmond, Virginia where she covered the aftermath of the violent rally in Charlottesville, protests over Richmond’s own confederate monuments, and the shooting of Congressman Steve Scalise, as well as other breaking news.
Colleen got her start as the weekend anchor and reporter for the Charlottesville Newsplex. She was one of the first journalists to report of the disappearance and murder of UVa student, Hannah Graham, and the fallout from a discredited Rolling Stone article about an alleged sexual assault at the University of Virginia.
As a native Long Islander, Colleen has an undying love for bagels, pizza, and the NY Mets.
