Deana Harley joined the CBS 17 team in May 2022 after spending three years in Salisbury, Maryland at the ABC affiliate.
There, she woke up very early and served as the morning anchor for more than two years.
While there, she worked on several special reports, including one about the Delaware probation system and one about babies born into the NICU during the pandemic.
Before entering the news world, Deana graduated from Ursinus College with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and then went on to complete her law degree at Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law.
While in law school, Deana focused on criminal defense and was able to combine her interests in research, writing, and justice.
When she’s not working, she’s probably Facetiming her baby nephew, spending time with her cat, or reading a book.
