Jordan Crammer

Jordan Crammer is thrilled to be joining the sports team at CBS 17 and to call The Triangle her new home!

Originally from Western Pennsylvania, she grew up an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, and pursued a career in broadcast journalism at West Virginia University.

She graduated from the Reed College of Media (Go Mountaineers!) where she participated in the inaugural broadcast of Mountaineer Playbook, the College of Media’s first-ever sports only broadcast.

Jordan began her broadcasting career with our sister station WTRF-TV in Wheeling, West Virginia.

After nearly two years in the friendly city, covering everything from high school football to ECHL Hockey, she moved to Knoxville, Tennessee to join the sports team at WATE.

During her time in Knoxville she heavily covered the Tennessee Volunteers and SEC Athletics.

She covered Tennessee football’s compliance scandal and subsequent coaching search in 2021 as well as Tennessee baseball’s journey to the College World Series.

She also covered the men and women’s basketball teams SEC and NCAA tournament runs.

In her spare time, you can find Jordan watching sports she’s not covering, on a run, or trying out local coffee shops and restaurants (please pass along your favorites!)

If you see her around, say hey! If you have a story idea, send her an email at jcrammer@cbs17.com.
