
Lillian Donahue joined the CBS 17 News team in June 2021 after working at Live 5 News, in Charleston, South Carolina.
During this time, she was also a guest correspondent and repeat contributor to the nationally syndicated political show “Full Court Press” with Greta Van Susteren.
Before that, Lillian worked at KAET, the PBS station in Phoenix.
She reported live in both English and Spanish from Washington and from along the Mexico border for Arizona PBS stations.
In 2020, Lillian was a multi-media journalist of the year semi-finalist in the Carolinas (RTDNAC).
In 2018, she won a national Hearst Award for Investigative Reporting and additionally, has gained regional awards from the Rocky Mountain chapter of the National Academy of Television of Arts and Sciences.
Lillian has a bachelor’s in journalism with a minor in Spanish from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.
When she’s not on the hunt for stories, she’s usually outdoors hiking, biking or skiing!
