Randi Ayala joins the CBS 17 News team after working as a multimedia journalist for KTVE and KARD in Monroe, Louisana.
Randi was born and raised in the Washington D.C. metro area and is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Richard T. Robertson School of Media and Culture.
During her undergrad years she served as reporter and anchor for VCU’s monthly newscast Insight that aired on PBS Richmond.
She also completed an internship in Washington D.C. at WUSA 9 where she wore many hats in the newsroom.
After graduation, she landed a job at WUSA9 as a production assistant but quickly began writing and producing for the morning shows.
