RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Is it Week 9 already? Where has the season gone?
With just three weeks left of the high school football regular season in North Carolina, teams are either trying to solidify their playoff positions or play spoiler.
Following last week’s epic battle of Apex, CBS 17’s Game of the Week crew is staying in the Southeast Wake Conference, this time at Holly Springs as the Golden Hawks host the Green Hope Falcons.
Green Hope (1-6 overall, 0-4 conference) is winless in the conference and sitting at the bottom of the standings, while Holly Springs (6-1, 3-1) is just behind the Apex schools at the top of the league.
