Shrek: The Musical
Shrek: The Musical has been a hot commodity at the Cape Fear Regional Theatre. Due to the wonderful response from attendees and sold out shows the Cape Fear Regional Theatre has extended its dates until the end of February.
If your children are big fans of Shrek the movie or maybe your child loves musicals, then Shrek: The Musical is the family outing that you need on your calendar. The musical is based off the hit- movie Shrek however, unlike the movie the musical incorporates fun musical numbers that will be sure to inspire the family and bring a smile to everyone’s face.

In this fairy tale musical, an unlikely hero finds himself on a life-changing journey. Joined by a wisecracking Donkey, Shrek sets out to rescue a feisty princess who has a big secret. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy and gang of fairytale misfits and you’ve got something to sing about. Learn what a “Big Bright Beautiful World” it can be when you trust others and love yourself for who you truly are.
This is a show that not only children will love but as well as adults. The show is filled with witty humor, great songs and life lessons that will be sure linger once the show is complete.
