KILL DEVIL HILLS, N.C. (WAVY) — Two students are facing charges in connection to disturbing videos and photos taken inside the locker room of a school in Kill Devil Hills.
Dare County Schools officials confirmed the video was filmed inside the boy’s locker room at First Flight High School last week.
Superintendent Dr. John Farrelly said in a statement the video contained vulgar, hateful and racist language that is “in direct violation of the core values of Dare Country Schools.”
A Dare County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson confirmed two students — both of whom are younger than 16 — face ethnic intimidation and vandalism charges.
Both students have also been suspended from school.
