GATLINBURG, Tenn. (MEDIA GENERAL) – Tennessee officials confirmed on Friday that 13 people are now confirmed dead following this week’s wildfires in Sevier County.UPDATE: Woman who was with 2 daughters confirmed dead in Tenn. wildfires
Six of the victims have been identified so far.
Two of the victims had dual Canadian/American citizenship, and at least one of the dead was a full-time resident in Gatlinburg.
The average age of the six victims so far identified was 68.
At least two married couples died together in the fire.
A number of their bodies were found in the area of Chalet Village.
