Car sought in shooting that killed woman outside Fayetteville bar

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Police are looking for a vehicle they say might be involved in a Fayetteville shooting that killed a woman earlier this month.

Nika Albana, 40, of Boston was hit when someone fired “numerous” shots around 10:25 p.m. on Nov. 8 outside a bar in the 500 block of South Reilly Road, Fayetteville police said.

Albana died the next day of her gunshot wounds.

Albana was outside Jumpers Nite Life bar with a man when the shooting happened on Election Day night, police said.

Now, police have obtained a surveillance photo of a vehicle of interest in Albana’s death.

Police said the car left the parking lot of a nearby business immediately after the deadly shooting.

Police believe the car is possibly a Buick LeSabre or Buick Park Avenue, with an item covering the rear passenger window.

Anyone with information regarding the homicide investigation is asked to contact Detective M. Wooten with the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 391-8630, or Crimestoppers at (910) 483-TIPS (8477).
