Cumberland County delays high school football due to Hurricane Dorian

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – The threat of Hurricane Dorian is forcing Cumberland County Schools to delay a series of high school football games scheduled for Friday.

The following games will be played Monday:

  • Lee County at Douglas Byrd  — 6 p.m.
  • Pine Forest at Jack Britt —  6 p.m.
  • South View at Purnell Swett  — 6 p.m.
  • Seventy-First at E.E. Smith — 6 p.m.
  • West Johnston at Gray’s Creek — 6:30 p.m.
  • Cape Fear at Lumberton — 7 p.m.
  • Hoke at Westover — 7 p.m.
