Eating a lot of ultra-processed foods increase your risk for early death

News

NEW YORK (CNN NEWSOURCE) – According to a new study published in the journal of the American Medical Association, eating a lot of unhealthy, ultra-processed foods may shorten your life span.

We all know that eating processed foods isn’t a healthy choice.

Researches found that a 10-percent increase in your consumption of ultra-processed foods has been linked to a higher risk of death by 14-perecent.

Ultra-processed foods are typically formulated with salt, sugar, oils, fats, dyes, and other additives.

So the next time you are cruising down your grocery store aisle, try to avoid foods like ice cream, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, margarine and spreads, pre-made pies and pizzas.

Researchers say you can still eat these foods, just consume in moderation to live a longer healthier life.
