RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Wednesday marks one year since the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in North Carolina.

Since then, at least 863,000 residents have contracted the virus and 11,288 deaths are being attributed to it.

To mark one year of COVID-19 in North Carolina, CBS 17 sought out to answer your questions about the pandemic and the state’s response.

“Can my employer force me to get the vaccine?”

“When will it be my turn to get the vaccine?”

Throughout the day Wednesday, CBS 17 will air those answers and more beginning at 5 a.m.
