RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – There are now several locations that will accept donations for the firefighters who are fighting the blazes in the North Carolina mountains.

The Swift Creek Fire Department in Cary and Barry’s Café in Raleigh will be collecting donations on Thursday and the donations will be sent to firefighters on Friday.CLICK FOR FULL NC WILDFIRES COVERAGE
The Swift Creek Fire Department is located at 5825 Tryon Road in Cary and Barry’s Cafe is at 2851 Jones Franklin Road.
Also, all McDowell County Fire departments, Rescue and EMS station are now drop off locations for donations for the crews fighting the wildfires.
Donations made before 3 p.m. should be brought to Barry’s Cafe. Those brought after 3 p.m. need to be dropped off at the Swift Creek Fire Department because the cafe closes at 3 p.m.Here is the list of the items needed:
