FRANKLINTON, N.C. (WNCN) — One person is dead after a Thursday night house fire in Franklinton, according to Franklin County officials.
On Thursday night, firefighters responded to a house fire on Harris Way in Franklinton. The side of the house was severely burnt.
Franklin County Emergency Services said an 81-year-old woman and a dog died in the fire.
Officials told CBS 17 the fire is believed to have started from an electrical source.
