RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — One person was injured in a shooting late Tuesday night at The Lakes Apartment complex in Raleigh.

This happened in the 6600 block of Lakes Drive where a heavy police presence was seen around 10:30 p.m.

Police said one person was injured, but their condition is currently unknown.

This remains an active investigation, according to police. Investigators and the homicide unit were still on scene as of about 5 a.m. Wednesday.
