The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office seized drugs and paraphernalia from a “trap house” in Roanoke Rapids, according to a Facebook post by Sheriff Wes Tripp.
At approximately 12:24 p.m. Wednesday, a warrant executed on the 400 block of A Street yielded drug paraphernalia, the post said. The residence was described as a “trap house.” There was no clothing in closets. There was a television, couch, mattress in a bedroom, and a camera surveillance system.
Then, around 1:37 p.m., a warrant executed on Madison Street turned up cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Emazhae Foster, 21, is charged with felony possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting a public officer. Foster was also served outstanding warrants for assault on a female, conspiracy robbery with a dangerous weapon, and second-degree kidnapping.
Foster is due in court on July 18.
