2 men wanted for stealing victim's dog at gunpoint in Spring Lake

SPRING LAKE, N.C. (WNCN) - Spring Lake police are looking for two men suspected of stealing a man's dog, a release said.

On Tuesday around 11:30 a.m., police responded to an armed robbery of a person at 1886 North Bragg Blvd. The release said Morris Antonio Reid Jr. and Jacob Kelly as suspects.

Evidence from the scene and statements from witnesses led investigators to believe Reid pointed a gun at the victim while Kelly stole the victim's dog, the release said. The incident appears to have been planned and the victim was targeted.

Both Reid and Kelly are wanted on charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery.
