4 nabbed after drugs, 9 guns and nearly $200,000 in cash seized, Fayetteville police say

Three men and a woman were arrested this week after drugs, guns and nearly $200,000 in cash was seized, Fayetteville police said.

The bust happened because of a tip to Crimestoppers, according to a news release from Fayetteville police.

The arrests happened Wednesday at a residence along the 200 block of Ruritan Drive, police aid

Police said when they searched the home, they found:

7.6 pounds of marijuana
3 grams of cocaine
4 handguns
3 rifles
2 shotguns
$194,000 in cash

Gregory S. Owens Jr., 33, of Ruritan Drive, was charged with possession of cocaine, manufacturing marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and felony conspiracy.

Thomas B. Russ, 33, of Blue Sky Lane in Hope Mills, was charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and felony conspiracy.

Jayson T. Beha, 23, of Robmont Drive, charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, and felony conspiracy. 

Roxana Smiling, 31, of the 5800 block of Kelly Landing, was charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, and felony conspiracy.

All four suspects were processed at the Cumberland County Detention Center and they have all since posted bond.
