FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Police have identified the Fayetteville man who died after they found him in a car with a gunshot wound.

Fayetteville police said Tuesday that 30-year-old Terence Malcolm Malik Hogue was killed in the shooting early that morning.

Police said they were called to the 1200 block of Kienast Drive at about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.

They say their investigation found Hogue and a man he knew argued inside a vehicle, Hogue was shot and died at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
