FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Fayetteville police have released the identity of the person found dead in a home early Tuesday morning.

Shahid Roszik Page, 20, was found by officers who were responding to a domestic disturbance call around 5:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Enoch Avenue.

The preliminary investigation has revealed Page suffered from gunshot wounds to the chest. He died as a result of his injuries, police said.

Upon arrival to the call, police said they saw an injured woman outside the home and Page was found inside.

Officers said this did not appear to be random and there does not appear to be a threat to the public.

Page’s death is being investigated as a homicide. No one has been charged yet, police said.
