Cumberland County News

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. (WNCN) – A traffic stop on Interstate 95 in Cumberland County led to deputies seizing several vials of liquid THC and the arrest of a Massachusetts man.

A blue Nissan traveling north on I-95 was pulled over by deputies Wednesday afternoon. They were soon alerted by a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle as they approached. A search led authorities to 91 vials of liquid THC, according to a news release.

The driver of the car, 25-year-old Cristian Pacheco, was taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver and maintaining a vehicle for the sale of controlled substance, the release said.

Pacheco is currently in the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $500 secured bond.
