Man ‘severely injured’ in Fayetteville hit-and-run, police say

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – Fayetteville police are investigating a hit-and-run after a male was found severely injured on the side of the road, according to a press release. 

“Officers arrived on the scene and determined the male was struck by a motor vehicle which fled the scene,” it read.

The man was taken to Cape Fear Valley Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries, the release said.

One lane of Raeford Road was closed for about two hours while officers investigated.
