The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says a man on a motorcycle was targeting and sexually assaulting women in the Massey Hill neighborhood.
They say he’d ask if they needed a ride on his motorcycle, then take them to a secluded area next to Highway 301 to sexually assault and beat them.

“When they get to this location, the suspect would become physically violent to the women and punching them, and kicking them. It’s just a terrible thing,” said Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Lt. Sean Swain.
So far, he says there have been two reports of the sexual assaults that came in Oct. 21, but that there could be more.
They’re trying to find the suspect. The sheriff’s office describes him as a white man who’s balding with a scar on his neck riding a dark colored motorcycle.
