Man wanted for throwing hot coffee in face of teen McDonald’s worker may be in Fayetteville

CAMDEN, S.C. (WNCN) – A South Carolina police department is asking for help finding a suspect accused of throwing hot coffee in the face of a 16-year-old McDonald’s employee.

A news release from the Midlands CrimeStoppers said that 29-year-old Joshua Emery Noel, who is believed to be in Fayetteville, is wanted for throwing the coffee in the employee’s face after he “became upset over waiting too long in the drive-thru line” at the McDonald’s.

Noel is wanted on a second-degree assault and battery charge. He was driving a red Ford Focus at the time of the incident, officials said.
