FORT BRAGG, N.C. (WNCN) – A service member is recovering after sustaining an injury during a traning exercise Monday at Fort Bragg.
The service member, assigned to the Joint Special Operations Command headquarters, received immediate medical treatment at the site of the training and was tranported to Womack Army Medical Center, officials say.
The service members were participating in pistol training as part of their deployment readiness, according to a news release from Fort Bragg.
There were no other injuries.
