Vehicle hits, kills pedestrian, injures another on Bragg Blvd in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) - One person is dead and another injured after they were hit by a vehicle on Bragg Boulevard Monday morning, Fayetteville police said.

Police were called to the 3200 block of Bragg Boulevard around 11:30 a.m. in response to the collision. 

An unmarked box truck hit two people - Keith C. Jackson, 31, and Donna D. Jackson, 42.

Keith Jackson died at the scene, police said. 

Donna Jackson was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with what police said were non-life threatening injuries.

The outbound lanes of Bragg Boulevard were closed between Cain Road and Carol Street but reopened at 2 p.m.
