HOPE MILLS, N.C. (WNCN)– A woman was found dead following a house fire in Hope Mills, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said.
The fire happened shortly after 2:30 a.m. Friday on Muscat Road in Hope Mills.
According to deputies, after firefighters put out the fire, 59-year-old Jo Ann Noel was found unresponsive. She was pronounced deceased on the scene.
No foul play is suspected.
