DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – A Durham teenager was shot while walking home from a basketball court on Monday evening, police said.
A 13-year-old boy was shot around 7:45 p.m. at the McDougald Terrace apartments along the 800 block of Ridgeway Avenue in Durham. He was walking home when four to five shots were fired, police said.
The boy suffered non-life threatening injuries and is expected to be OK. He was transported to the hospital.
Police did not have any information on a suspect and were unable to find a scene. No charges have been filed.
