DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) - A 36-year-old man is the third person arrested in connection with a shooting and bank robbery on July 18 in Durham, police said.
A bank employee was shot in the arm during the course of the armed robbery at the SunTrust bank at on N.C. Highway 54, police said.
Two brothers, Javon Cheek and Larry Lamar Johnson, are already in custody in connection with the robbery.
On Thursday, Durham police said Shawn William Cox, of Durham, had been arrested and charged with accessory after the fact and possession of a firearm by a felon in relation to the bank robbery.
He was placed in the Durham County jail under a $47,500 bond.
