DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Durham police are investigating the second bank robbery at the same BB&T within the span of 4 days.

The BB&T located at 5407 S. Miami Blvd. was robbed on Monday and again just before 10 a.m. Thursday, police said.

According to officials, a man entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. The man, who employees said did not appear to have a weapon, fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a man in his mid-40s to 50s, approximately 6 foot 2 and weighing around 230 pounds. The suspect was wearing a gray hoodie, gray baseball hat and white sneakers. The suspect in Monday’s robbery wore the same thing.

Police said while the suspect(s) in the robberies appear to be very similar, they can’t say for sure that both robberies were committed by the same person.
