DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Durham police are investigating the third robbery at a BB&T bank in the city within the last week.
The bank robbery occurred just after noon Tuesday at the BB&T located at 1107 West N.C. Highway 54.
A man wearing a gray hoodie entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money, according to police. No weapon was seen.
The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The BB&T located at 5407 S. Miami Blvd. was robbed on Feb. 11 and Feb. 14 by a man who was also wearing a gray hoodie.
Police did not say if they suspect the same man is involved in all three BB&T robberies.
