Durham police investigating bank robbery at BB&T

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Durham police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Monday morning at a BB&T, police said.

According to police, a man went inside the BB&T located at 5407 S. Miami Blvd. just after 10 a.m. and passed a note demanding money. The man did not appear to have a weapon, police said. He was able to flee from the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a man in his 50s who was wearing a black hoodie and khaki pants.
