‘Hamilton’ returning to DPAC for 2020-21 season

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – “Hamilton” is coming back to the Triangle. 

The wildly successful musical will return to the Durham Performing Arts Center in the 2020-21 season, 

SunTrust Broadway at DPAC members who renew for the 2020-21 season will have first priority to purchase tickets for these performances.

Further ticket information will be available at a later date.

“Hamilton” came to DPAC in the 2018-19 season to sellout crowds. 

Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote the book, music and lyrics which were based on Ron Chernow’s biography, Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.

“Hamilton” became a sensation after premiering in 2015. It won 11 Tony Awards and a Pulitzer Prize.
