DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – A 38-year-old man was arrested Monday for murdering a woman inside an apartment the day before, according to a news release from Durham police.
Travis Morrell Poe is charged with murdering 46-year-old Rebecca Baldwin.
Police responded to an apartment along the 140 block of Commerce Street around 9 p.m. They found Baldwin dead inside the apartment, according to an earlier news release.
Police said it appeared to be a domestic incident.
Poe was taken to the Durham County Jail.
