Man nabbed after Durham bank robbed 3 times in 3 weeks, police say

ABERDEEN, N.C. (WNCN) — A man was arrested in Moore County two days after a Durham bank was robbed for the third time over the last three weeks, police say.

The robbery took place at the BB&T at 5407 S. Miami Boulevard around 3:45 p.m. 

A man entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money and threatening the use of a gun. No weapon was seen and no one was injured. 

On Friday, Larry Bullock, 55, was arrested on March 8 in Aberdeen and charged in the bank robbery, Durham police said Saturday.

This was the third time this BB&T has been robbed within the last three weeks. 

Gregory Tracy McAllister, 53, of Durham, is charged with robbing four banks over a two-week period in February. Two of those bank robberies occurred at the BB&T located at 5407 S. Miami Blvd. Those robberies happened on Feb. 11 and Feb. 14.

Bullock is being held on a $500,000 bond.
