Man wounded in leg during broad-daylight Durham shooting

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A man was hurt during a broad-daylight shooting in Durham on Saturday afternoon, police said.

The incident was reported around 3:40 p.m. along East Weaver Street at East Cornwallis Boulevard, according to Durham police.

The victim was hit in the back of a leg by gunfire. The man suffered non life-threatening injuries, police said.

The victim was not cooperating with police, so no information was available about a possible suspect, officials said.

No other information was released.
