Police: Man shot during attempted robbery in Durham

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – Durham police are investigating a shooting that happened Friday night. 

The shooting occurred in the 2900 block of Chapel Hill Road about 9:30 p.m. An adult male in his 40s was shot two times during an attempted robbery, according to Durham Police.

The victim, who has not been identified, was transported to a local hospital with serious, possibly life-threatening injuries. Police have no suspects in custody.
