‘Possible suspect’ in custody after 21-year-old killed in Durham shooting

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – Durham police said they’re investigating a homicide after a 21-year-old man was found Wednesday night suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

A news release from Durham police said that a possible suspect is in custody. 

The shooting happened along the 1700 block of Holloway Street. Officers discovered the victim shortly after 8:30 p.m., according to the news release.

The man was taken to a local hospital and later died.
