DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Anyone who was in the area of downtown Durham on Wednesday morning knows the blast from the gas explosion was powerful.
One building was reduced to rubble and four others were damaged, some heavily. One person was killed and 17 were injured.
The smoke was so dark and thick it could be seen for miles. Not only that, as meteorologist Bill Reh shows it, the smoke showed up on Doppler radar.
