Franklin County man turns self in on 10 child sex crimes charges

FRANKLIN COUNTY, N.C. (WNCN) – A Franklin County man turned himself in on Friday on a number of child sex crimes charges, according to a press release from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. 

Jeremy Ward Crawford is charged with 10 counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. The charges stem from an extensive investigation conducted by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation Computer Crimes Division. They executed a search warrant at his home on March 13, the release said.

Crawford turned himself in on Friday at the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. He has since been released after posting a $75,000 bond.
