SELMA, N.C. (WNCN) — Authorities are investigating a tanker crash that occurred in Selma Wednesday morning and left two people injured.
The crash occurred in the 1300-block of South Pollock Street near U.S. 301 in Selma around 6:45 a.m., according to Johnston County emergency officials.
Multiple agencies were on the scene of the crash, which had shut down U.S. 301.
The road reopened just before 10:30 a.m.
Officials did not say how the wreck occurred.
Two people were transported to the hospital but the extent of their injuries is not known at this time.
