CLAYTON, N.C. (WNCN) — A man and a woman were shot to death at a home and the woman’s father was injured Tuesday morning in the Archers Lodge area of Johnston County, according to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.
The home, which is on Richmond Drive, has a Clayton address but is in the county.
Authorities said deputies arrived at the home around 2:30 a.m. in reference to a shooting call. A man and woman were found dead in the yard outside the home and the female victim’s father was transported to WakeMed for treatment of a gunshot wound.
The sheriff’s office identified the victims as 21-year-old Lindsay Rae Webb and 23-year-old William Kyle Parker. They both lived at the address where the shooting occurred.
Webb’s 45-year-old father was shot in the arm.
Investigators at the home were seen focusing on a burgundy car parked in the driveway. Around 10 evidence markers surrounded the car.
Multiple 911 calls were made and a variety of firearms were recovered at the scene, officials said.
The sheriff’s office said there is no threat to the public and the shooting is under investigation. The incident was domestic-related, according to authorities.
No further information has been released at this time.
